Paul and Jackie have between them over 40 years experience in dog training. They are both Kennel Club Good Citizens examiners to Gold Standard. They believe that training should be practical, fun and meet the individual requirements of the owners and their dogs.
Jackie and Pauls involvement in dog training started first with Molly, a Border Collie rescue, followed soon after by Spike another rescue Border Collie, and then Masie our beautiful Cross Collie. Now we have a 9 year old Gun Dog from a Puppy who is a very handsome boy.
Taking on rescue dogs gave them an insight into dealing with all sorts of issues and firmly cemented their interest in training.
Jackie has her British Sign Language Level 3 Certificate, and is able to work with those who are deaf or hard of hearing to train their dogs.

I am currently taking my rescue dog, who is so frightened of the world that I couldn’t walk him in public. For most of the first lesson he was petrified of the environment and the people, but by the end he was starting to relax and managed … More to sit down. By the third class, you wouldn’t know this was the same dog. He lay in the middle of the group, he had a bit of fuss off everyone and it was clear his confidence had increased massively. Jackie and Paul encouraged us to go at our own pace and not feel under pressure to perform every task. Jackie also made extra effort to befriend Horace which has paid off so much. I can now take him to the local park.
I highly recommend Jackie and Paul. They helped me with my other dog, an over-friendly, confident and happy Staffie, and now they’re working their magic again with my non-socialised and (previously) petrified rescue dog. Also - homework assignment is to go to the pub and the Cheesecake Shop. What’s not to love? -

Jackie and Paul are fantastic trainers, we first took our dog to the puppy classes when she was 12 weeks old and have since moved through the classes and continue to attend every week, she will shortly turn 4.
Jackie puts her heart and … More soul into the sessions and treats all the dogs with kindness and fairness as if they were her own.
Rosie has achieved bronze and silver Kennel Club Good Citizen awards so far and is currently working towards gold, we wouldn’t have been able to do this without Jackie.
Rosie loves attending training, the sessions are fun, informative and have helped us build such a strong bond with Rosie. We also love all the fantastic other events that Jackie arranges for both owners and dogs including Easter egg hunts, dog Christmas parties as well as summer camps.
All the dogs adore Jackie and Paul and we would highly recommend Paws and Feet.
